POSITION DETAIL
WyHy Federal Credit Union, with $215 million in assets, located in Cheyenne, Wyoming is currently in search of a Chief Lending Officer to champion their loan program.  This individual will be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio consisting of consumer, mortgage and small business loans.  Responsibilities will include portfolio management and analysis, product development and vendor management.  The successful candidate will oversee underwriting and collections, be responsible for leading technological advancements within the lending area, providing strong leadership through coaching and mentoring, and streamline departmental operations and processes.  The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in consumer lending, exposure to mortgage and small business lending, strong credit experience and proven leadership skills.  Five plus years of experience managing a loan operation within a financial institution is required. WyHy Federal Credit Union has two branches in Cheyenne and Casper, Wyoming and serves more than 13,800 members.  The credit union was chartered in December 1953 for Wyoming Highway Department employees and their families. The founding fathers believed in the credit union philosophy: to consider each member's situation individually and provide prompt financial advice to help members manage their finances. Today, WyHy has continued to grow by signing up additional businesses called Select Employer Groups (SEGs) for membership eligibility.
